We offer Geothermal heating and cooling for the most energy efficient systems and emergency service 24 Hours a Day x 7 Days a Week.

Our goal is to make your home energy efficient and as comfortable as possible.

We have high efficiency heat pumps and air conditioners with the R410a environmentally friendly refrigerant. Our energy saving systems will save on the environment and your energy bills.

The heat pumps can continue heating as low as 0 to 5 degrees and still maintain comfort. Our gas furnaces run at 95%+ AFUE ratings, so you’re getting $0.95 of heat for every $1.00 of energy.

Our History

Air Excellence was formed in February of 1992 because there was a need for a reliable and affordable HVAC residential contractor in the upper Ohio Valley. It’s first manager, Craig Mccasland, had worked in the commercial construction industry for many years and felt that the opportunity to serve the residential market was worth exploring.

Based on flat-rate pricing and quick response to service calls, the small company was able to begin turning a profit after just three years of operation. It’s second manager, Ted Maslowski, introduced the concept of ESA’ s (energy savings agreements) to provide clients with recurring service for their sensitive heating and cooling equipment. He also added duct cleaning to the company’s services. Both ESA’s and duct cleanings are available today from the Air Excellence staff.

In 2009, Dave Geer was appointed operations manager of the company. Under his leadership and with the assistance of office manager Cindy Fisher, great strides were made in both marketing and sales. By 2010, they had revised the company logo and added a focus on geothermal equipment, for both energy efficiency and “green” (environmentally friendly) options for their clients.

In 2015, Cindy Fisher retired. Today, with the help of their newest office manager, Cindy King, Dave and his hard working staff of installers and repairers continue to serve an ever-growing client base in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Tom Wilson, controller and treasurer, reports that the company is thriving, a real accomplishment for a small business in the Ohio valley.
